Thumbuddy Special- challenging YOU to help us “Fill the Basket”!
Friends of Thumbuddy Special! Happy Fall! Summer flew by and Thumbuddy Special was busy at work making sure lots of kids enjoyed their time in the sun.4 children spent their summer riding their new adapted bikes! For the first time, Josh, Amaya, Colson, and Gabe have their own bikes.Enjoy the photos below and this cute video of Gabe enjoying his new bike!
21 children received summer camp scholarships! Arts and crafts, sports, swimming, field trips and camaraderie were all part of the activities creating memories for the campers.

The Golf Outing in Memory of Carolyn Armstrong was a huge success! Big thank you to all the golfers, volunteers and hole sponsors. We all had a beautiful day, the “Spirit” in the room was amazing! All having a wonderful time raising money for the kids.

Help Fill the Basket!– It’s time to concentrate on our Moms Day Out Event, coming up on Sunday, November 15th and YOU can help!
Thumbuddy Special sponsors a day of pampering for 15 local moms who have children with special needs! Moms are treated to a day of shopping, spa day and dinner to promote camaraderie and friendship.
Now through November 6th, we are collecting “pamper items” to fill the baskets for our moms. You can drop off donations at my house or give me a call and I will arrange for pickup.
We can use anything “girly”! Some ideas- hair products, nail polish, soft slippers, facial products, lotions.
Any leftover items will be used for Christmas baskets for teenagers and moms. We could also use men’s grooming products for dads and teens at Christmas.
