Thanks to all who attended the “Winter is Almost Over” Party on March 8th. It was a great success! Carlucci Restaurant is so kind and generous to us, fabulous food and great service. We were able to raise over $11,000! A new record! We celebrated our 20 Year Anniversary of Thumbuddy Special, Yalina sang and we all cried tears of joy….so talented!
Candlelight Bowling

At the Bowling Night we will award our Just Have Fun Scholarship to West Suburban Special Recreation Assoc. for children with special needs to attend Summer Camps.
RECENT THUMBUDDY SPECIAL ACTIVITY
Things are busy at Thumbuddy Special. Here are a few of the projects we are working on:
Sweet Adrianna received a like-new stander. Adrianna is a 4 year old child with cerebral palsy. She is absolutely adorable in this short video! Thank you!

Right now, the van we purchased for the Angelly and Bryon, siblings who both have Spina Bifida, is in the shop getting a lift installed. The van will be awarded on April 27th, along with assisting 4 more families to obtain a van.
We are so excited about our Kids on the Go Scholarship! More info on that to follow.
