| Thumbuddy Specials Wishes You a Very Happy Fall! Thumbuddy Special has had to creative these past 6 months. We were not able to have 2 fundraisers, our Trivia/Bags Night and the Golf Outing. But our faithful supporters remained with us and TS continued to make an impact during this crisis. We were able to: |
- Help over 50 families with our Thumbuddy Special Cares Program, providing financial assistance and hope.
- Purchase an adapted van for Jonathan’s family, and
- We are ready to award a second van soon!

Now our Fall season of programs have to be
reinvented to continue to provide hope during these trying times.
We are changing the course of our Moms Day Out for this year. We do not feel it
is safe to gather our moms all together for the day of pampering. Nor do we
feel it is safe to collect pampering items for the baskets. (This will return
hopefully next year). Yet we do feel the need to reach out to our moms with
gifts of love and encouragement. So I’m praying that you will support us in
this next endeavor.
We are making Baskets of Hope to deliver to our sweet moms of children with Special Needs or moms who are having a difficult time during this crisis and we can use your help. TS is asking for:
- Monetary donations
- Donations of gift cards to either Target or Kohl’s
- Hand written notes or cards that encourage hope and let the moms know someone is thinking of them, praying for them and rooting for them.
